Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
Mala 108 (“we”, “us”) is built around a simple principle: collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you create an account we store your email address and the authentication details needed to sign you in. As you use the app we store your practice data — which verses you've completed, your progress through the mala, and preferences such as your daily reminder time and chosen themes. We do not collect your name, location, contacts, or payment details unless you explicitly provide them for a feature that requires them.
How we use it
Your information is used only to operate the app: to authenticate you, save your progress across devices, send a daily reminder if you enable one, and improve the experience. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Storage and security
Data is stored with our cloud infrastructure provider using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to systems and personnel that need it to run the service.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted infrastructure providers for hosting, authentication, and database services. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Deleting your account removes your practice history and personal information from our active systems. To make a request, contact us at hello@mala108.app.
Children
Mala 108 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
